Noted Iran producer Habibollah Kasehsaz dies aged 55

Renowned Iranian producer, director and actor Habibollah Kasehsaz who lost long battle with cancer dies at the age of 55.

Suffering gastric cancer for years, Kasehsaz passed away Wednesday in a hospital.

Born in 1962, Habibollah Kasehsaz produced several films and series including ‘Deportees 1’, ‘Deportees 2’, ‘Carnival of Death’, ‘Butterfly in the Mist’ and ‘Prisoner 707’.

Tributes poured in from Iranian artists and figures just after the news of his passing broke.
